Andres Moreno
About the Artist
Andrés Moreno is a Colombian artist born in November 1984, whose work bridges the disciplines of fine art, design, and architecture. His creative practice reflects a continuous dialogue between classical technique and contemporary form—a balance shaped by his diverse academic background and experimental approach. Moreno began his artistic education at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where he studied in the Faculty of Arts, focusing on painting and the plastic arts. In 2007, he expanded his training at the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University, pursuing a degree in Industrial Design, and later continued his studies in Interior Architecture at LaSalle College in 2016. By integrating the structural precision of design with the expressive freedom of painting and sculpture, Moreno has developed a visual language that explores form, balance, and emotion. His work often features classical color palettes reimagined through contemporary compositions, revealing a fascination with contrast—between discipline and spontaneity, tradition and innovation. His early paintings and sculptural works marked his first commercial exhibitions, introducing a style that continues to evolve through experimentation, craftsmanship, and a deep understanding of spatial and aesthetic harmony.
